Mariscos de Grecia
A small Greek restaurant in Amposta with a 4.9 rating and friendly prices. We arrived starving after Tortosa and left very happy.

After Tortosa, which, honestly, we pretty much fled, it was already quite late and I was starving. I started looking for somewhere to eat and, 20 minutes from Tortosa, right where the Ebro Delta begins, in Amposta, I found a little restaurant called Mariscos de Grecia. It has a high 4.9 rating (over 700 Google reviews) and low prices. So off we went.
Some of the dishes I’d come for (moussaka, for one) weren’t available that day. But overall it was really good. We ordered grilled sardines (โฌ12), fish soup (โฌ10) and orzo with prawns (โฌ13), and everything was really, really tasty. It was the weekend and almost every table was taken.
I have no photos of the food. That’s probably the best proof that I was very hungry and dug into everything the moment it arrived. I do have photos of the menu, though: I’d sent them to my husband so he could choose what to order.

It’s definitely worth coming back, if only for the moussaka.
๐ก At weekends almost every table is taken, so it’s best to come early. And according to Google reviews, save room for dessert: lots of people rave about the portokalopita, a Greek orange cake.
